THE AWARD Every three years, the World Federation of Rose Societies nominates a special rose as the World Rose. In 2006, an international jury met and chose the eden rose®, from Meilland /BKN STROBEL, as the World Rose. The jury was convinced by the eden rose's® romantic flair, its nostalgic, fragrant blooms, and its resistance to diseases. In order to emphasize the uniqueness of this rose, BKN STROBEL developed a sales concept with a logo, new label and a CC container with topper and posters. The rose is presented with three stakes in an elegant black, square container with a round base that features the golden "World Rose" logo printed on two sides. The World Rose can be sold directly from the CC container. A large topper and two World Rose posters on the side add to the impressive sales display. OUR DISPLAY MATERIAL The new, high-quality folding label represents the World Rose’s color and form on its four sides. Background information about the World Rose can be found on the left inside page and on the right your customers can read important information about the growth, planting location, and care of the rose. The two elegant posters and the showy topper on the CC container attract your customers’ attention and help to secure fast sales. On this successful evening, companies that have distinguished themselves through their services were awarded in 21 categories in the areas of production, trade, service, marketing, business awards, technology, supplies and special awards. BKN STROBEL received the horticulture "Oscar", the Reimann Award "Tree Nursery of the Year", which was personally presented by Ms. Monika Reimann. 19 jury members and experts from many different economic sectors as well as many branches of horticulture chose BKN STROBEL in the area of production and the category "Tree Nursery of the Year" as the prize winner for its "quality assurance in plant production by minimizing the use of water and soil". BKN STROBEL received renewed award-winning appreciation with its motivating motto "Environmental protection is part of our philosophy".
