BKN STROBEL represents all rose innovations that come into Germany from the Meilland Group in France. This includes Meilland International as well as Meilland Star Rose. All rose novelties from this holding company are subject to the following conditions: 1. Plant variety protection rights, in which there are new breeds of roses as well as trademarks, which refer to the trade names of these roses, belong to the breeder, Meilland. For trademark protection, this sign ® will be presented after every variety name. We have the rights to use all Meilland roses in the Federal Republic of Germany. The propagation and the sale of the roses that we produce can only be carried out after the completion of license agreements concerning plant variety protection or propagation and sales contracts. We are available to answer questions about license agreements. 2. Acknowledging the rights mentioned in point one, particularly the right to sell the cuttings we have propagated and provide them with the registered trademarks of the cultivator, we will pay the original breeder the license fees as well as any propagation and sales expenses, which are included in the purchase price of the roses. 3. The propagation of varieties, which are protected by plant variety protection rights, is prohibited if this is carried out without a valid license agreement. 4. Our right only applies to the German domestic market. 5. All roses, which will be used for the cultivation of cut roses, must be registered with a cut rose license agreement. License fees are included in the sale price of the roses. This cut rose contract, purchased by the buyer, gives him/her the right to supply the cut flowers with the registered trademark and to place the flowers into circulation in Germany. The reproduction of our cut roses requires our explicit approval and the completion of a cut flower license agreement. 6. All Meilland rose novelties with trademarks must be supplied with the appropriate protection label. All bare root roses must be labeled for retail sales. Every bundle at wholesale must bear at least one protection label. Every container rose that is either sold as retail or wholesale should bear a protection label.
